Laura Browne has more than 25 years experience in global leadership and management development.
She spent 10 years as a consultant where she delivered training and coaching to high potential leaders from Fortune 1000 companies including American Express, Bank of America, Cisco, IBM, and Microsoft. Before that, she spent 12 years at Hitachi America, Ltd. where she ran leadership, management, sales and intercultural training for that company and its 14 North American subsidiaries.
Ms. Browne is certified to administer 360 degree feedback instruments including PDI Profilor for Executives and Managers and Center for Creative Leadership’s Benchmarks. She is also certified by PI, Predictive Index, and Kirkpatrick Partners.
She is certified to deliver training programs including Ken Blanchard’s Situational Leadership II and FranklinCovey’s Leading at the Speed of Trust.
Ms Browne is the author of 2 business books: "Why Can't You Communicate Like Me? How Smart Women Get Results At Work" and “Raise Rules for Women: How To Make More Money At Work”. She is also the author of many business and career articles.
She has been quoted as a business expert in major publications including the San Francisco Chronicle, Family Circle magazine, Arizona Woman magazine, and Cosmopolitan.
Most recently she was quoted in a USA Weekend article on The Art of Negotiation where she explained how to negotiate a salary increase.
